How to Terminate enrollment in DirectStock

In June 2025, some GME shareholders traveled to GameStop headquarters in Grapevine, Texas, to view the stockholder list and collect data.

GameStop publishes the total number of all registered shares held with Computershare, but does not provide any information that distinguishes shares held directly (DRS) versus shares held in Computershare's DirectStock Purchase Plan (DSPP).

The viewing of the stockholder list provided this data, as well as other data such as number of shareholders per country.

GameStop total shares outstanding:  447,299,851

Registered shares:  69,393,213  (15.5% of total)

DRS shares:  56,430,476  (12.6% of total)

DSPP shares:  12,962,737  (2.9% of total)

Of all registered shares, 81.3% are directly registered, 18.7% are held in DSPP.
